The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is an organization focused on technical, educational and research issues of the engineering and technology community. Baton Rouge ASME holds numerous meetings throughout the year to promote professional development courses, further education, as well as to promote membership.

With a full range of current members in the oil/gas, design, manufacturing, and other industries, Baton Rouge ASME provides new members with: contacts in industry, educational courses for professional development hours, and social gatherings to name a few.
