PROJECT ENGINEER (CAM Posting 9/12/07)

We are seeking a Project Engineer for a highly successful Streetsboro/Hudson Ohio area Manufacturing Company. The selected individual will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferably, coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Demonstrated experience in leading a team, effective at time management, planning, and execution of projects. Promotes excellence in development with regards to quality, and efficiency. Major responsibilities will include the following, other duties may be assigned.

Hands on leadership and management for projects.
Collaborate with the plant manager and other team members throughout the organization to effectively identify and resolve issues and take ownership for driving these issues to closure.
Lead a team to generate detailed functional and technical design specifications and oversee the use of resources.
Define operational objectives for the development program, including plans, budgets, task breakdown, scheduling and resource allocation.
Drive projects/programs aggressively to deliver with quality and predictability
Responsible for project planning, execution, safety issues (OSHA Standards) task breakdown, scheduling and resource allocation.
Responsible for coordinating the development of accurate work estimates for new projects.
