General Technical Meeting – Engineering Ethics
Wednesday – 7 October 2009

1 PDH
or
* 2 PDH *

This Chicago Section Program for ASME FY2010 will involve participants in a topic that is of interest to all. The matter of ethics can become a challenge to employability, our liability, and – in some cases – the maintenance of a professional license. This will be a rare instance in which attendees will have the unusual opportunity to earn more than one PDH. (see below)

Following a time of networking and dinner, attendees will view a case study video prepared by the National Institute for Engineering Ethics (NIEE). After the video is shown, there will be a time of panel and open discussion of ethics in engineering, which may include personal experiences and material from the video.

* Earn an additional  PDH by completing and submitting an NIEE assignment based on the case study.  If you are interested in the additional PDH from NIEE contact 806-742-3525 – before 23 September - and arrange for the assignment. In addition to the meeting fee, you will be required to pay $60 – a discount of 13 percent from the usual cost.  Click Here for assignment (Word format)
