The Kansas City Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (KCASME) will be awarding student scholarships January 2008.
The scholarships will be awarded to ASME student members who attend the six universities that our section covers (Kansas State University, University of Kansas, University of Missouri at Kansas City, University of Missouri Columbia, Johnson County Community College, and one of the Metropolitan Community Colleges). Recipients must be student members of ASME, actively enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, and show financial need. We will award $500 each to four students.
Interested students should complete the attached scholarship application and mail it to the address above or scan and e-mail by October 31, 2007. Scholarships will be awarded by check to winning students in January. When sending in an application, please send an email to me at hillg2@asme.org so that I can watch for its arrival. Also, please keep a copy of your application until I have confirmed its arrival.
