Vision Statement
To be the premier professional organization for mechanical engineers and students within the boundaries of the Mt. Diablo Section.

Mission Statement
To aggressively develop activities to meet the professional, economic, and social needs of mechanical engineers and students, thereby increasing membership in ASME.

Section Objectives

1. To significantly increase member participation in section and technical chapter operations and encouraging student involvement in Mt. Diablo Section activities.
2. To establish Mt. Diablo Section financial stability and self-sufficiency to provide better professional activities.
3. To provide activities and services that increase the professional competence of members including services for their economical well being.
4. To recognize members, volunteers and students through honors and awards.
