The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) New Mexico Section has created the Robert O. Woods Math and Science Education Grant to inspire the next generation of U.S. engineers and scientists. The bi-annual program awards up to $3,000 to one or more teachers of grades 6 through 8 to conduct a classroom project that actively engages students in creative and exciting problem solving activities in mathematics and the physical or life sciences. The Grant is administered by a partnership of the ASME New Mexico Section and the Albuquerque Public Schools Foundation.
Teachers (or teams of teachers) of ALL BACKGROUNDS AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS may apply for the Grant by completing the attached electronic application form.
