| The New Mexico Section of ASME has a scholarship available for a qualified mechanical engineering student at the University of New Mexico and for a qualified mechanical engineering student at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Scholarship amount to be determined at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Scholarship applications will be evaluated by the Executive Committee of the New Mexico Section on the basis of scholarship as demonstrated by grades and writing skills and involvement in student and/or community activities, including, but not limited to, involvement in the local ASME student section and other extracurricular engineering activities.
