The Conversion of Waste to Energy. 
Jon Peacy, P.E.

Jon Peacy, P.E., is the founder of JPC Consultants. Mr. Peacy has extensive involvement in the selection and design of municipal solid waste to energy plants. He has been involved for several years with the State of Illinois air pollution control programs, solid waste disposal and noise control. He has assisted in developing and enforcing environmental rules and regulations. Mr. Peacy was responsible at UOP for hazardous wastes and toxic wastes control programs. He participated in the design of waste transfer stations and is involved in several landfill operations.

The meeting will be held in connection with the ASME Northwestern University Student Section at:

To reach the Tech Institute,

  • take I-90 (Edens Expressway) North or South to Dempster (Illinois 58),
  • East on Dempster to Chicago Avenue,
  • North on Chicago Avenue (merging later with Sheridan Rd.) about 11 blocks to the Northwestern Tech Institute at 2145 Sheridan Rd.
