January 26th, 2012

Student Out Reach Event
Illinois Institute of Technology
Chicago, IL

Human Factors Engineering and Design is the application of our knowledge of human capabilities and limitations to the design and engineering of products including devices, equipment, structures, systems and procedures.

Every product that involves human interaction in any form, is affected by and should consider Human Factors in its design.

Human Factors Engineering and Design utilizes our knowledge of human psychology, anatomy, and function to improve the usefulness and safety of a product.

Join us for an informative presentation and an evening of networking with fellow ASME members.

About the Speaker:

Mike Scola is a 30 year product development veteran.  He has designed products in a wide range of markets including automotive, consumer products, toys, packaging, displays, sporting and leisure goods, industrial, and medical products.
