Student Involvement
The 2012 FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of
Science and Technology) Robotics Midwest Regional Competition took place from
Thursday, March 22nd to Saturday, March 24th at the UIC Pavilion, Chicago, IL.
As a part of a three-team alliance, the Monty Pythons, Team 2151 of Proviso Math
& Science Academy (PMSA) achieve the rank of regional finalist in the
competition. The other two teams part of the alliance with Team 2151 were
WildStang, Team 111, from Schaumburg, IL, and Team Hammond, Team 71, from
Hammond, IN. This alliance came in 2nd place at the Midwest Regional.
