Dear Members:



So far I have 48 valid votes to upgrade our Group to subsection. At

the time I mailed the ballots our membership was 96. Latest labels I

received had only 94 people. One of you have forgotten to sign the

ballot and one of you have sent the ballot in two pieces. If we need

any additional votes, Ray Jackson will contact them to validate their

votes. I do not recall any one objecting to the upgrade. Therefore, I 

think, we are ready to become a subsection.



New executive committee was also voted in. Tom (now V.P.) and Bill

(now president) switched the positions. Myself (secretary) and Ray 

(treasurer) stayed where we were.



Our yesterday's Kary Asphalt, Inc. plant tour was very successful

and enjoyable. Seven of us attended the tour and five members joined

the dinner.



Past and the new Executive Committee would like to thank all of you

who were able to mail the the ballots. Without your help we would

have stayed as a Group.



I shall be out of country until Aug. 25, 1999. Hopefully, I shall

communicate with you when I return.
