Bill Hargrove, Ray Jackson,  Dr. Yilmaz, Dr. Nagchaudhuri, Andrew 

Groves, Thomas Edwards and Tom Haines were present. 



1. Opening Remarks by the Chair and Introductions





Chair welcomed the participants. He mentioned that he visited k-

12 and 8-12 grades at local schools to give talks. He also 

visited Eastern Shore Community college and talked with 

graduating class. Mr. Jackson mentioned that he had ASME poster 

and information at a local library. Dr. Nagchaudhuri mentioned 

that himself and his students visited local schools. Tom Haines 

mentioned that he had two engineers to give a talk at a local 

school. Some of these activities were performed as "Engineer's 

Week" activities. 



2. Proposed additions to the agenda



No additions were proposed



3. Approval of Oct. 16, 1998; May 10, 199 and Feb. 8, 2000 

Meeting Minutes 



All approved with no changes.
