Clarion Hotel
1809 W. Mercury Blvd,
Hampton, VA
|
Rich Graham, Col.,
USAF (Ret) presented an informative
discussion on the capabilities of the Blackbird aircraft for gathering
highly classified intelligence on hostile countries around the
world. Col. Graham took the group through
a subconscious journey aboard the Blackbird as he discussed flying at
Mach 3+ speeds and cruising at altitudes of over 85,000 feet . He described how the SR-71 could
survey over 100,000 square miles every hour while gathering millions of
bits of intelligence. This was a joint meeting of ASME,
AIAA and ECVP and was
attended by 95 members and guests.

From Engineer to Manager:
Roadmap for a Successful
Transition
|
ASME Distinguished
Lecturer: John T. Bozewicz
|
Nauticus museum in Norfolk
|
Joint dinner program with AIAA. The presentation included a practical look at
some of the key elements in preparing for a successful transition from
