ERIE SECTION FACTS


The Erie Section of the ASME was organized in 1917 and is now headquarted in Erie, PA.   The Erie Section's membership territory encompasses the counties of Erie, Warren, Crawford, and Venango in Northwest PA and a portion of NY's Chatauqua County south of the east-west line through Centralia, NY.

The Warren-Jamestown Group was formed in 1965 and headquartered in Warren, PA. The Group disbanded in 1993 and its members were reassigned to the Erie Section.

As of the Fall of 1998, there were approximately 265 members in the Erie Section.
