Marcia G. Smith is the Chairperson of the North Puget Sound Section. She and her family are in Hawaii on vacation. She is with the FAA Aviation Safety, Aircraft Certification Service, Transport Airplane Directorate. Attending from the Hawaii Section were Ed Chang, Chester Kaitoku, Derick Kam, and Raymond Liu. We compared notes on ASME Section operations. Marcie mentioned that her Section activities includes many tours. Meetings are held at restaurants. She is both chair and secretary. Her husband Andy is a Registered Civil Engineer. He works for the Department of Defense.
