To promote technical and professional development of ASME members residing
or visiting
the area of Japan section, through meetings and other forms of communication,
by encouraging
members to prepare or discuss papers, through study of local engineering
practice, and through
close coordination with the ASME organization.
To achieve closer personal acquaintance and spirit of cooperation among engineers.
To provide for cooperation with other local engineering societies in matters of common interest.
To otherwise assist in furthering the purposes of ASME.
