On February 11, 2010 ASME Milwaukee Section member, Dr. Otto Widera will receive the Engineer of the Year Award at the annual ESM (Engineers & Scientists of Milwaukee) Engineers Week Banquet. To show our support to Dr. Widera we are inviting all of our members to attend this event.
History and Heritage
There are small pumps and large pumps, and then there are pumps that can move rivers. This one was built in the 19th century, but still operates today.

Membership
If you are a member of the ASME and live in eastern Wisconsin, you are a member of the Milwaukee Section. If you are not a member of the Society, please refer to the ASME Web Page for information on the benefits of membership.

The Milwaukee Section is part of District C.
It includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Manitoba, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
