This course is designed for the practicing engineer. It will touch on the theory and fundamentals of heat exchangers, including the design, selection, application and operation of these critical pieces of equipment. The course will also emphasize practical applications, troubleshooting, testing, operation, and maintenance. Our morning session will focus on Plate and Frame heat exchangers, and will be presented by Mr. Mike Panaia of APV. Our afternoon session will focus on shell and tube heat exchangers, and will be presented by Mr. Jim Bruno of American Heat Exchanger.
It is intended that this course be highly interactive. Feel free to come prepared with questions, problems, or issues from your specific applications.
The course fee is $100.00 for ASME members, $110.00 for non-members, and $90.00 for retirees and students. This fee includes course materials, PDH certificate, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and state park entry permit. Breakfast will be available starting at 7:30 a.m.
