About the Section

The Northwest Ohio Section was founded in 1920. We serve over 400 ASME members living and working in the Toledo metropolitan area and surrounding communities of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan (just over the border), including:       
    Ada, Bowling Green, Bucyrus, Celina, Clyde, Coldwater, Curtice, Delphos, Findlay, Fremont, Huron, Lima, Minster, Napoleon, Norwalk, Oak Harbor, Port Clinton, St. Marys, Sandusky, Tiffin, Van Wert and Wapakoneta in Ohio         

    Adrian, Lambertville and Temperance in Michigan

Section meetings are held monthly on varying days of the week - consult the calendar page for specific dates. Meetings are held September through June except February (our February meeting consists of attending the Engineers' Week Banquet). Meeting locations vary month-to-month.       

Executive Committee meetings are held monthly, August through June on varying days of the week - consult the calendar page for specific dates. Currently, Executive Committee meetings are held at the Main Office Building of the Sunoco Toledo Refinery, 1819 Woodville Road, Oregon, OH 43616.  All Section Members are welcome at Executive Committee meetings. Contact the Section Chairman, Glenn Siddens, at 419-474-5786 or e-mail  siddensg@asme.org  to confirm date, time and place before the tentative meeting date.  

The ASME is organized into 12 Regions. Northwest Ohio is part of ASME's Region V. Region V includes Ohio, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania and the Province of Ontario.
