Directions:

Plant is one mile east of I-75 exit 161 on County Road 99.

As you exit I-75 drive east past Findlay Ford. There is a traffic signal for North Main Street, and then you will cross railroad tracks. Our drive is to the north with a large water tower as a landmark.

NOTE:  Our tour guide reports "We have had some folks that experience difficulty finding us with their GPS service, not sure why. The directions are pretty simple otherwise but people trust technology more than directions."

The Findlay plant was the third of Ball Corporation's metal beverage container plants. The original plant consisted of two can lines and was built in 1973.  End manufacturing capability was added to the plant in 1975. A major expansion was completed in 1980, greatly increasing end-making capacity and warehouse space. Another major expansion was completed in 1982 and a can line added in 1987.In 1996, one of the beverage lines was converted to the production of two-piece steel food cans.
