Welcome to the Puget Sound Section of ASME.
Upcoming EventsEngineers without Borders student chapters at Seattle University and University of Washington in cooperation with the Puget Sound Professional chapter have teamed up to organized this annual gala event. We'd like to invite all our fellow ASME members to this event. It is important to note that Engineers without Borders USA and ASME announced in early 2010 to engage in an enhanced strategic partnership to leverage each organization's strengths to benefit future joint initiatives and objectives. The gala event will be held at the Campion Ballroom at Seattle University on April 23, 2012, 5:30pm - 10pm. The gala night will be an evening of fun and celebration that includes dinner served with local beer and wines, interactive project demonstration, as well as live auction. This event and money raised are all for a great cause to support our global projects. We partner with local NGOs in developing countries to design and build water irrigation and filtration systems, wind turbine, bio-diesel, bio-gas, micro-hydro and solar energy projects, schools, orphanages, and many others. Please help us save lives and improve the lives of millions around the world. ----------------------------- Announcements

ASME offers you a new tool to communicate, get the information you need and meet others with similar interests and concerns at the new ASME Communities of Practice site. On the CoP site, you can join a community, suggest a new community, participate in discussions and polls, and post your own message or request to be notified when messages are posted on the community. Its your choice what communities you participate in, and how you choose to participate.
You will need to register the first time that you use the page, and set your preferences for your home page. It only takes a few moments – then you are ready to participate, or just observe the discussions. To date, there are already 143 communities and approximately 2,200 users.
