Generators Gen Room
Harbec is a plastic injection molding company and they have their own power generating plant.

They also grow stainless steel parts.

Harbec Plastics, Inc. produces highly engineered custom plastic parts for customers in the medical, automotive, consumer goods, and other industries. Its founder, Bob Bechtold, is firmly committed to processes that are environmentally sustainable and highly efficient. Every aspect of his ISO 9002, QS 9000, and ISO14001 certified operation is designed to minimize waste through re-use and recycling, right down to their floor sweepings that, combined with re-ground plastic scrap and other waste products, are re-melted to produce long-lasting, decay-resistant plastic lumber at a near-by company.
Harbec is just as frugal with energy. Their facility uses a state-of-the art array of microturbine generators to produce, high-quality uninterrupted power. The exhaust gas from the generators is then used for space heating and cooling. Some of the power is even used to charge Harbec's fleet of electric vehicles, further reducing air and noise pollution. In total, the Harbec onsite power system is designed to be among the most efficient, economic and environmentally sensitive energy systems in use anywhere on the planet.
