Cheryl A. Gomes is a Materials/Project Engineer at ILC. Dover, Inc. She
has been employed at ILC since August 1983 working on materials used on
the Shuttle space suit, chemical protective suits, Mars Pathfinder
airbags, and other high technology items. Ms. Gomes presented ways
of approaching a failure analysis and discussed seam testing of
space suit gloves. Ms. Gomes exhibited some space suit
components and discussed some of their designs.
