Meeting held Wednesday, September 20, 2000
Fuel cell technology is at the threshold of being an economically viable alternative energy supply for the 21st century, particularly in the areas of distributed electricitygeneration and transportation. Mr. Bosco discussed historical aspects, fundamental concepts, current state of the art, and the future of this promising technology. This was a timely topic since the technology is environmentally friendly, and can alleviate energy shortages in industrial and developing countries. This meeting turned out to be an evening of fun and learning in an open-forum atmosphere.
