This workshop is for those wishing to explore the power and possibilities of CFD software. We'll use FLUENT software, one of the leading names in CFD simulation.  Dr. Venkataraman has over ten years of experience working with the software. He will provide a brief background on how the software works.  Students will work either individually, or in groups of two, to simulate simple fluid flow problems of practical interest. Velocity and pressure distribution will be obtained for these examples. The participants will be able to perform the basic simulation at the end of the course.
