District-C is looking to "Re-Vitalize" the Rock River Valley Section.   We are looking for anyone interested in helping getting the section going again. 

All levels of ASME leadership believes that every member deserves the professional benefits available through regular strong local Section activities.  Tours, technical meetings, social programs, and National and International events are all part of the ASME program.

Please contact me, if you would like to volunteer and become a part of your section's executive committee or local leadership team.   I will be happy to assist you.

If you already are a member of the section and have some information to post on this website, send me a note, and I will look at posting it.

The Rock River Valley is the home to an ASME Historical Landmark.  The MW-31 was the first gas-electric 'Locomotive"  the precursor to today's Diesel-Electric Locomotive that power the majority of today's Railways. Additional Details can be found here (or click on the pictures below)
