REPORT:
The event was a success. It was attended by
approximately 35 students and engineers who were treated to sage advice from
five guest speakers representing four employers. The guest speakers
were: Phil Sluder of TriAxial Design and Analysis, Thane Lundberg of the Air Force Flight
Test Center at Edwards
AFB, Whitney Bice and
Prescott Johnson of Aerotek Recruiting Services, and Simon Meth of General
Atomics Aeronautical Systems. The Executive Committee of the San Diego

San Diego Section presents a face-to-face meeting connecting engineers with similar interests. The first in the series is to connect Mechanical Design Engineers. However, all mechanical engineers are welcome to attend.
