due to budget cutback from asme, all san diego section newsletters are now electronic only.  you will be notified by email when a newsletter is available.   you can then read it online (and print it if desired).  TO ensure that asme has your current email address, GO TO THE MEMBERS ONLY PAGE OF ASME (http://my.asme.org).   AFTER YOU LOG IN, MAKE any changes (email address, phone number, etc.) you like on the left panel.

for those of you that do not have email or access to the internet, there are several companies that offer free email services.  Hotmail is one, Yahoo is another, and Gmail is yet another (no endorsement is implied).  And almost all public libraries have high speed internet access that would allow you to access the newsletter (and practically the whole world!).

We realize that often times the newsletter is the only communication you received from our Section in the past.  We would like to improve that communication.  Please update or obtain an email address so you can continue to receive the newsletter and other communications in the future.
