The 2nd ASME Social in Bakersfield was a great way to end the 2008 - 2009
operating year! Our Bakersfield members and guests came in to see old friends
and meet new faces. As is the norm in Kern County, attendance was predominately
of engineers involved in the numerous facets of the Kern County oil and gas
exploration and production business. Engineers from operating companies and
service companies were among those present. The Section Chair, George F Tirone,
P.E., came from Valencia to join the group, and Bakersfield resident and
Vice-Chair, Vincent Meraz, P.E. was also present to speak to the section
members.
