- Current meeting is last board meeting of year. Next meeting will be event planning meeting to be held in June. Include mention that event planning meeting will occur in June.
- Round Table
- Duane – can Sam/Ravi write a one-pager summarizing the LTC and key take-aways? Double-counting points for events that qualify for 2 categories (i.e. student engagement, PDH) is encouraged to maximize merit funding score.
- Profile Updates. John S. had questions on how to update online profile to ensure correct email and contact information available. Also, how do we ensure members keep their information current?
- How do we leverage paper mailings to broader membership to maximize section involvement without wasting paper. Idea to start sending a postcard at beginning of each fiscal year to all members asking "Are you interested in receiving paper-based emails from the ASME St Louis section?"
- Award Plaques for March and April tour guides & presenters. John following up to ensure Jeff Greer (Cadbury-Schweppes) gets plaque (4-30). Ravi to follow-up on plaque for Doisy facility tour guides (5-31).
- Can we multi-task at section events by conducting board business either before or after the main event? This could be outreach to foster broader participation by section membership into decisions. Agreed to try this concept out next fall and have exec board meeting directly after a dinner meeting.
