Luncheon Meetings
April: At the Tallahassee Section's April "Lunch and Learn," (Fri. 4/27/12), guest speakers Ron Sill and Ben Huron, with RS&H presented “Realizing the Return on Your Green Investment.” The message was that an organization must be able to justify making a green program investment, considering its life cycle cost and payback. Two principles, “Minimize waste” and “Maximize byproducts” were demonstrated via a case study, Volusia Transportation.
March: At the Tallahassee Section's March "Lunch and Learn," (Fri. 3/30/12), guest speaker Eric Hellstrom, Professor Mechanical Engineering Applied Superconductivity Center, Florida State University, spoke on the topic: Superconductivity: Materials for tomorrow – delivered today.
