ASME Upper Valley Subsection

|
Welcome to the web page of the ASME Upper Valley subsection.
ASME-UV represents members from the Upper Valley of the Connecticut
River, an area
containing Grafton and Sullivan counties in New Hampshire; and Windsor
and Orange Counties in Vermont. This area is host to
universities, high technology firms and research labs, such
as Dartmouth College, ANSYS, Creare,
M2S and CRREL. The Upper Valley is well known for it's natural beauty
and outdoors lifestyle, which attracts scientists and engineers from
all
over the world to live and work here. ASME-UV was started in 1981, as
a subsection of the Green
Mountain Section in Vermont. It has approximately 135 members from 35
different towns. Over 45 different
companies in the Upper Valley have at least one employee in our
Subsection. Approximately 60% of our
members have an advanced degree, including more than 50 members with a
Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree. For the latest news from ASME-UV, please download our newsletter. On May 5th, 2009, our Subsection hosted a round table / Q&A discussion on the Professional Engineer license. The presentation
slides from this event can be downloaded here. | ||||||
