ASME Virginia Section
The class will be sponsored by Region 2000/CAER and offered through CVCC with a planned start date of Monday, November 17 and will meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm. Except for holiday breaks it will continue right up to the exam offered on or about April 23. Call the Center for Workforce Development & Continuing Education at 434.832.7607 for details. The Virginia Section of the ASME is investigating whether it can arrange for preferred pricing for ASME members (i.e. we would pay part of your tuition) - will provide details if we are able to do this.
It's my notion to provide opportunities for Section Members to present once or twice a year as the featured speaker at one of our monthly events. There are a number of smaller engineering concerns in our communities that we are not necessarily aware but have interesting engineering stories to tell. We'd like to here them.
